Lee has been a fully trained and licensed stylist for 34 years. She was trained in England and attained her city and guilds status in 1974. When she arrived in Canada she prepared herself for the BC Provincial licensing exam at Molar school of hairdressing in 1976. She has also taken further advanced training in hair design from Dwight Miller, Trevor Sorbie, Chris Baron, Krop and Styles, Wayne Grund, Leo Forsyth, Dennis Gebhart, Lena Choi and Daniel Benoit. When Lee was looking for a well established, well run salon with a long term vision of its future she found Doria and Company, and after 6years she cannot envision herself being anywhere else. She truly loves her career. When she isn’t working you can find her curled up reading a good book, watching a movie or traveling internationally. Learning is a passion of hers and does it at any opportunity she gets.
Ingrid has been doing hair for over 5 years. Dynamic creativity and a drive to pursue excellence are what set Ingrid a cut above as a stylist. Whether it’s a symposium in Las Vegas or a local Redken workshop, Ingrid keeps her skills up to date so clients can discover the look that works best for them. Ingrid loves to create looks that her male and female clients find easy to maintain and love. When it comes to color, Ingrid`s secret is to maximize the hairs health which gives long lasting, beautiful color in return. Through Doria & Co`s support Ingrid has become an award winning stylist who also participates in local events such as the closing ceremonies for the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Malia has been doing hair for 4 years. She graduated from Hair Art Academy and specializes in color, especially blondes and updos. Malia is passionate in all other aspects of hair and loves to put her creativity into coloring since it can make such a difference in brightening up a clients features. Malia loved when she walked in the doors at Doria and Company, how everyone greeted her and welcomed her warmly. She knew then that she wanted to be able to offer that kind of service to all her clients. When she isn’t at work you can find her walking her dog or with friends and family, anything to do with having fun.
Lindsay has been doing esthetics for 6years and graduated from Blanche Macdonald. She specializes in waxing and semi permanent lash extentions. She also has training in sales and marketing at BCIT, she found us when she first saw our website and she just new it was a place she wanted to be, and 4years later she is still with us. If you cant find her here she is traveling or spending time with her friends and family.
Jason was brought to us all the way from Kelowna where he went to Marvel College. He has been doing hair for 5 ½ years. He specializes in all services, including chemical straightening, extensions, updos, color and cutting. He also has training in makeup and waxing as well. When Jason isn’t at work… well we can all wonder what he is getting himself into.
Ashley C. has been a stylist for 4 years. She graduated from the Hair Art Academy in White Rock. She loves doing color and new styles on her clients. She decided to join the team at Doria and company when she knew it would help her grow as a stylist. When Ashley isn’t at work you can find her with friends and family, shopping or seeing movies.
Krista’s passion for wellness & people allows her to be one of the most amazing esthetician’s out there. She graduated from Pacific School of Cosmetology and has had immense training to keep herself consistent and current with her knowledge and practice through the Dermal Institute. With 6 years of experience she specializes in facials, massage, and make-up. When Krista isn’t at work helping out coworkers and making people smile she could be found running ½ marathon’s, attending church, entertaining & visiting with family and friends.
Katherine started out her love for being a stylist when she was still in high school and did addition training at Hair Art Academy. She has been doing hair for 3 years and her favorite thing to do is long styles and foils. If she isn’t at work you can find her at home hosting parties or horse back riding, and if she isn’t doing those things she is at the spa.
